8/11/10- What a summer it has been so far!
Its only mid August and we have had alot of big things going on! We have played some great shows including The Molson Canal Concert Series opening for Rik Emmett of Triumph, The Taste of Buffalo, and The Niagara County Fair just to name a few! We have been anxiously awaiting the release of our debut album and it will be arriving very soon! We will have the CD available right here on this site in our online store at the top of this page, iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, and CD Baby. There will be several other locations in and around Western New York where you will be able to purchase the album also. We are busy getting ready for it's release and planning the CD release party. Details on this will be available soon. We will have several new show dates that we will be posting soon as well so stay tuned for updates, new pics, and much more!
6/10/10- Debut Album Completed!
As you all may be aware, we have been working very hard over the past 10 months to be able to bring your our first full length album. We have just completed the entire project and a release date will be coming very soon! Stay tuned to this site as well as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace for all the details!
03/01/10- March Break
During the month of March, we will be focusing our efforts towards completing our highly anticipated debut album. All of the recording has been completed and we are just putting on the final touches. During this time, we will also be finishing work on some new material and updating this website. We will resume our live shows in April and are getting pumped for the Spring and Summer! We are still booking during this time as well, so if you'd like us to play in your town, visit our contact page!

09/01/09- What a summer we had!
We thank all of you that came out to see us all over the place this summer! We had a blast and we hope that you all did too! We have been working very hard in the studio beginning work on our debut CD and writting new material. We are going to be releasing 4 tracks of of this album very soon and we are very anxious to share this with you! The tracks will be available to listen to right here at simplecircus.com and will be available for sale on The Midway page off this site! We will also be announcing several dates for this fall in the very near future! So be sure you keep checking back often! And don't forget to tell your friends about us!- Simple Circus Merchandise has arrived! We have several new items available for sale and you can order them right from this site! T-Shirts, buttons, and stickers are available now, and the list will keep on growing! According to Ranger at Gonzo's, 250 entry wristbands were given away and they ran out! This was a first for the venue! We would like to thank everybody at Gonzo's and all of our fans for making the trek out on that unseasonable friday evening. We had a great time and are looking forward to more events with them. Check out the "Center Ring" tab on this page for a few new pics of that show! As for now, we are booking shows for the spring and summer months and as soon as they are announced, they will be posted on this page along with the others. Biography Simple Circus has been writing new music since their inception and released their first full length CD in August of 2010. Their live shows showcase this material, as well as original music from all members former bands. For the first time for several of the guys, they will be including some cover songs as part of their live sets. Fans can expect to hear music from bands like The Doors, INXS, The John Mayer Trio, U2, R.E.M, Maroon 5, Red Hot Chili Peppers and several others. After only being on the music scene in Western New York just over 1 year, Simple Circus was nominated for "Best New Original Band" at the Buffalo Music Awards, and has played several high profile shows including The Molson Canal Concert Series, where they opened the show for RIk Emmett of Triumph, The Taste of Buffalo, and the Niagara County Fair. Simple Circus plays music in many various styles, which has something for everybody to enjoy. While staying mostly in the genres of Rock, Pop, and Alternative, they play music for fans of any age and musical preference. Several different influences will be able to heard and recognized, as every member brings their own diverse influences to the table which aids in creating their unique sound. The band is going to be playing around Western New York and its Regional areas. They are looking forward to many new opportunities for all involved.
This collaboration of musicians came together in June of 2008. The band consists of Vocalist/Keyboard Player Jason Albone, Bass Player Paul Sanmarco, Guitarist John Muscato and Drummer/Percussionist Ryan Harris. Jason, Paul and John were all in another band for several years and came together again to join with Ryan in a new project that allows more creative freedom for all involved. Jason and John have been writing music together for well over 13 years and Jason’s cousin Paul was a perfect compliment to their writing and musical style. With their previous project, they had released one full length album and had the opportunity to open for several national acts that had come through the
